Netflix has shared some amazing news about Money heist season 5! We finally know the release date for Season 5 of Money Heist… or as you will soon find out, the release dates.
Yes, there are two release dates for Money heist season 5. In a twist, Netflix announced the final season of Money heist will be divided into two parts. And, it’s coming to Netflix this year.
Each part will consist of five episodes, bringing the season’s total from 5 to 10 episodes. We knew the season of Netflix Original Series would be 10 episodes, but we had no idea they would be split into two batches.
We don’t know exactly why Money heist season 5 will be released in two parts, but it’s really the trend Netflix goes with lately. We’ve seen it before for a number of Netflix originals, including Ozark season 4.
Money Heist Season 5 release date
According to Netflix, Money heist season 5 part 1, or Volume, 1, will be released on September 3, 2021.
It fits perfectly with what we’ve been hearing all this time about the release date. There were a lot of rumors and some reports that Money heist Season 5 will be released in September 2021. So, it’s good to know these were right!
Fortunately, we won’t have to wait too long Money heist season 5 part 2.
Netflix will be released Money heist season 5 part 2, or volume 2, on December 3, 2021. So there are only about three months between each series of episodes.
It seems like each half of the season will have a very different vibe. According to a report by Variety, creator Alex Pina said:
“When we started writing Part Five in the midst of the pandemic, we felt we had to change what was expected of the ten episode season and used whatever tools we could to create the feel of a finale. season or a series finale in the first volume itself, ”said series creator Álex Pina. “We decided to work in an extremely aggressive genre, putting The Gang on the ropes. In volume 2, we focus more on the emotional situation of the characters. It is a journey through their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure. “
To me, that means we’ll probably see how it all ends in the first half of Season 5, and then go back, and maybe in the future once it’s all over. So I think we can definitely look forward to more flashbacks to fill in some of the gaps and develop these characters.
Can’t wait to see how it all ends! I’m glad we don’t have to wait too long to find out what’s going to happen with all of these great characters.
