South Africa vs Argentina live stream: How to watch the Rugby League match online and on TV

0

South Africa host Argentina in their final Rugby League game with everything yet to play with the four teams capable of lifting the trophy. New Zealand lead the standings on points difference but South Africa are close behind with Argentina and Australia in pursuit.

Last week, the Springboks beat Argentina in their own backyard 36-20 and they will hope to achieve the same result at home. A concern for South Africa comes from their lack of an opener with Handre Pollard injured, Damian Willemse suffering a concussion and Elton Janjties out for mental health reasons.

“It would have been nice to pick Elton, but mental health is a big thing,” Nienaber said. “There would have been too much outside pressure on him and from a human point of view it would have been unfair to bring him back. Elton would have been under too much pressure, and with us the human side comes first.”

The situation sees South Africa turn to Frans Steyn, a player with experience but who hasn’t started a Test since 2008.

But who else is lining up for the teams? Here’s everything you need to know.
