Netflix Shares ‘Sweet Tooth’ and ‘Too Hot to Handle’ Viewing Data – Deadline

Sweet tooth entered Netflix’s Top Ten Most Watched English-language Originals list after the streamer shared viewing data for the DC Comics series.

The streamer also revealed audience figures for some of his unscripted lists, including Too hot to handle it, which saw a decline from its first release.

Sweet tooth has been watched by 60 million member households since its launch on June 4, placing it sixth on its list of most viewed English-language original series, ahead of Emilie in Paris, and just below The Queen’s Gambit, who arrived with 62M. Bridgerton is his most watched original in English with 82M.

Sweet tooth comes from Robert Downey Jr. and Team Downey from Susan Downey, Hap and Leonard co-creator Jim Mickle, Arrow showrunner Beth Schwartz and Warner Bros. TV. It stars Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie, Adeel Akhtar and Will Forte with James Brolin as the voice of the narrator.

It follows the adventures of Gus (Convery) – part stag, part boy – who leaves his house in the forest to find the outside world ravaged by a cataclysmic event. He joins a motley family of human and animal-child hybrids like himself in search of answers to this new world and the mystery behind its hybrid origins.

On the unscripted side, the second season of Too hot to handle it has been viewed by approximately 29 million member households. The Turks and Caicos series, which had a slightly different rollout than its first season, was down from the 51 million households that plunged into its first season.

Interestingly, this is one of the first times that Netflix has released viewing data for a show’s second season.

Elsewhere, the second season of The circle secure 14M, while real crime docuseries Sam’s sons caught 19M.
