“When the nice Charlie [Locke] and Nick who loves rugby [Connor] meet in high school, they quickly discover that their unlikely friendship turns into an unexpected romance,” reads an official synopsis.

“Charlie, Nick and their circle of friends must navigate the ever relatable journey of self-discovery and acceptance, supporting each other as they learn to find their most authentic selves.”

When the show was first reported last year, Oseman herself spoke out in celebration of the two leads’ involvement.

“They are both so talented, adorable, funny, smart and so perfect. It was so much fun getting to know them and welcoming them into the Heart stroke universe, and I can’t wait to see them bring the characters to life on screen,” the author said.
