Netflix Renews Korean Reality Show ‘Singles Inferno’ For Season 2 – The Hollywood Reporter


Netflix’s Popular Korean Romantic Reality Series Bachelor’s Hell returns for a second season. The streamer released a trailer this week, confirming eight more episodes of the show (watch it below).

The show’s concept places a group of hot young Korean singles on a tropical “hellish island,” where the only way to escape is to become a couple with someone every night. Those who pair up can spend a night at “Heaven Island,” where high-quality food and accommodation are provided, while those who fail to pair up are forced to spend an evening of self-sufficiency on “ Hell Island”.

The first season of Bachelor’s Hell performed well for Netflix, ranking in the company’s Top 10 for non-English television for three consecutive weeks, peaking at number four.

Netflix said in a statement, “Fans can look forward to escaping to ‘Inferno’ Island to see more raunchy moments, adrenaline-pumping dates and more as our newest singles launch. in relationships in pursuit of love. The goal? Get married and escape hell!”

In other romantic reality TV news from Asia, Netflix also dropped the trailer for the second season of its unscripted Japanese show. The future newspaper this week (the show was renewed with a batch of new unscripted Japanese TV shows announced last month). The show follows complete strangers who receive a diary that tells them how they will fall in love with each other. The pair must then play the script to see if the sparks fly as promised.
