Is Master of None season 4 happening?

When the original Netflix series Master of None first premiere, he quickly became beloved by many as the series navigated beautifully through topics such as race, sexuality, and relationships.

While the series is rapidly gaining popularity and receiving tons of critical acclaim for its compelling stories, it’s no wonder the series has continued to garner many distinctions including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series over its two seasons.

The third season of the Netflix series, titled Master of None: Moments in Love, premiered yesterday and is already doing extremely well among critics, currently at 80% on Rotten tomatoes.

Everything seems to be going well, so could a fourth season be just for fans of the show, or is it time to say goodbye?

Will there be a Master of None season 4?

Unfortunately, there won’t be a fourth season of Master of None, as it was announced that the third season will serve as a farewell to the series.

It’s unclear why the series starring Aziz Ansari and Lena Waithe came to an early end despite being a fan favorite, but maybe we’ll have an answer in the near future or some sort of spin-off that explains everything. (With a bit of luck.)

Until then, we’ll likely never see how Dev’s relationship with Francesca ends or if Dev understands his life purpose. While this may be grim news, we’re thankful that we have at least one more season to give the show a proper sendoff.

Master of None Season 3 is currently only streaming on Netflix, and you can also watch the first two seasons of the original series to relive all of the best moments.
