Following the netflix the show’s cancellation in 2018, Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced the new Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again featuring Cox at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year.
Cox is set to reprise his role as Matt Murdock aka Daredevil, the blind vigilante, for 18 episodes to air in spring 2024.

In an interview with entertainment tonightCox talked about the reboot where he revealed they might remake stories from the Netflix series.
“In a way, what’s great about this is that we can potentially tell some of the stories over and over again the same way they do in the comics, you know,” Cox explained. .
“Once in a while they go back to the beginning of Murdock’s journey as a little boy and they tell the whole origin story again. So maybe we can do that, I don’t know,” a- he added.

According to the star, Daredevil: Born Again won’t pick up where the Netflix show left off, but instead will start from the beginning as a new series, a decision Kevin Feige was clear on.
“Kevin has been clear that this is Season 1 and not Season 4, so you know it’s brand new stuff.
“It’s been a weird experience to have played this character, to have the experiences that I had with this character and the journey that we’ve had with the show,” he said of the revival. of the role.
“For it to be over and over, and in my mind and heart it’s over, and then to be brought back inside and suddenly we’re starting over and it’s all happening again, it feels like a dream.”
daredevil seasons 1-3 are streaming on Disney+. Daredevil: Born Again should be released in 2024.
